CityDance Studios offers the opportunity for all students to participate in several performances throughout the year.
Performance Opportunities
Spring Recital: All CityDance Studios youth students (ages 3-18) are invited to perform in our annual Spring Recital.
Tenleytown Art All Night: CityDance Studios’s Dance Team performs at this annual local event.
Washington Wizards Pre Game Show: CityDance Studios’s Dance Team has the opportunity to perform at a Washington Wizards game at Capital One Arena in Washington DC.
Spring Recital
CityDance Studios offers the opportunity for all youth dancers (ages 3-18) to participate in an end of the year recital. Starting in February, students will learn/rehearse their dance for the recital during their regular class time.
2025 Recital Dates: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, June 6, 7 & 8, 2025
Location: UDC Theater of the Arts, 4200 Connecticut Ave NW Washington DC 20008
To participate in the end of the year performance, students will need to pay one performance fee per each class they are enrolled in. The total cost for each student’s participation is based on the number of classes taken. The performance fee covers the costs associated with costumes, theater rentals, and staffing for rehearsals. It does not cover the cost of recital tickets. Your child will get to keep the costume after the last performance. To pay the performance fee and secure your child’s spot in the recital click HERE.
If your child cannot participate in the recital, they will continue to attend class and learn the dance along with their classmates. Class time will be split between regular technique class and learning/practicing choreography.

Tenleytown Art All Night
CityDance Studios’s Dance Team will once again be performing at the annual local event, Tenleytown Art All Night in Washington DC.

Washington Wizards Pre Game Show
CityDance Studios’s Dance Team will once again perform at a Pre Game Show for the Washington Wizards basketball team at Capital One Arena in Washington DC on Saturday, December 7, 2024!
