Intermediate Tap

About This Class

Delve deeper into the history of the Black American art form of tap dance in this intermediate class with Fernando Naranjo! Students who already possess a basic knowledge of tap vocabulary will build upon those skills with more complex combinations that focus on timing, steps, and incorporating more intricate rhythms.

The new Winter Session consists of 7 weeks – Monday, November 11, 2024 through Monday, January 20, 2025.

Classes will not be held on the following days:

Fall Break – Monday, November 25, 2024 through Sunday, December 1, 2024
Winter Break – Monday, December 23, 2024 through Sunday, January 5, 2025
MLK Day – Monday, January 20, 2025

The current session runs through Monday, November 4, 2024.

Registration Information

Winter Session: $140 / 7 weeks 

Intermediate Tap 7 Week Session: 11/11-1/13

Drop-In: $22.50

No Class 11/25

Intermediate Tap Drop-In: 12/2

Location

This is an in-person class at CityDance @ Friendship Heights, 5207 Wisconsin Ave NW Washington DC 20015.

Cancellation/Reschedule Policy

If a class has low attendance, it may be subject to cancellation. Cancellation decisions for morning classes will be made by 9pm the night before and for evening classes by 3pm that day. EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 6, 2023: In the event you cannot attend your purchased/scheduled drop-in class, please email adults@citydance.net by 9pm the day before to receive a full credit and/or reschedule your drop-in class. Cancellation emails received after 9pm the night before will receive a 50% class credit. If a cancellation email has not been sent before the start of class, our No Show policy takes effect and you will forfeit the full class credit.
