Advanced Beginner Jazz

About This Class

Learn the fundamentals of jazz technique with Brittany Bailey in this high energy class that focuses on technique and terminology, as well as syncopated rhythms, isolations, and expression. 

The new Winter Session consists of 8 weeks – Friday, November 15, 2024 through Friday, January 24, 2025. 

Classes will not be held on the following days:

Fall Break – Monday, November 25, 2024 through Sunday, December 1, 2024
Winter Break – Monday, December 23, 2024 through Sunday, January 5, 2025

The current session runs through Friday, November 8, 2024.

Winter Session: $144 / 8 weeks

Advanced Beginner Jazz 8 Week Session: 11/15-1/24 

Drop-In: $20

No 11/22 Class

Location

This is an in-person class at CityDance @ Friendship Heights, 5207 Wisconsin Ave NW Washington DC 20015.

Cancellation/Reschedule Policy

If a class has low attendance, it may be subject to cancellation. Cancellation decisions for morning classes will be made by 9pm the night before and for evening classes by 3pm that day. In the event you cannot attend your purchased/scheduled drop-in class, please email adults@citydance.net by 9pm the day before to receive a full credit and/or reschedule your drop-in class. Cancellation emails received after 9pm the night before will receive a 50% class credit. If a cancellation email has not been sent before the start of class, our No Show policy takes effect and you will forfeit the full class credit.
