Intermediate Contemporary

About This Class

Join Talissa Bavaresco for an Intermediate Contemporary class featuring an intense technique-oriented warm up including elements from ballet and modern techniques, conditioning, and complete full-body stretching. Choreography is complex, syncopated, detail-oriented, and fast paced, and will build over several weeks. At the end of each combination, improvisation and composition elements are explored during class using the material learned throughout the previous weeks as a baseline.

The Summer Session consists of 7 weeks – Wednesday, June 26, 2024 through Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

Registration Information

Summer Session: $140 / 7 weeks

Intermediate Contemporary 7 Week Session: 6/26-8/7

Drop-In: $22.50

Intermediate Contemporary Drop-In: 8/7

This is an in-person class at CityDance @ Friendship Heights, 5207 Wisconsin Ave NW Washington DC 20015.

Cancellation/Reschedule Policy

If a class has low attendance, it may be subject to cancellation. Cancellation decisions for morning classes will be made by 9pm the night before and for evening classes by 3pm that day. EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 6, 2023: In the event you cannot attend your purchased/scheduled drop-in class, please email adults@citydance.net by 9pm the day before to receive a full credit and/or reschedule your drop-in class. Cancellation emails received after 9pm the night before will receive a 50% class credit. If a cancellation email has not been sent before the start of class, our No Show policy takes effect and you will forfeit the full class credit.
