This year, Studios is excited to collaborate with Furia Flamenca on two spring performance opportunities for our adult flamenco students.

Furia Flamenca’s Friends & Family Showcase

Estela and Daniel, in collaboration with CityDance Studios, are excited to bring back the yearly “Furia Flamenca Friends and Family Showcase”! This is a dedicated performance opportunity for flamenco students from all the flamenco classes offered at CityDance Studios and Furia’s Casita Flamenca. It is a celebration of all things flamenco, in particular your accomplishments in the past year of flamenco classes.  From Beginner to Intermediate level students, this is your chance to hit the stage! We are pleased to also have guest appearances by renowned Spanish guitarist Maestro Torcuato Zamora and Furia Flamenca Dance Company.

When and where is the performance?

This performance takes place on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 4:30pm (with an additional show possible at 7:30pm) at The Writer’s Center, 4508 Walsh St, Bethesda MD.

Who can participate in this performance?

All current Studios Flamenco students are encouraged to participate in this performance opportunity.

When do rehearsals take place?

Students will rehearse during the Spring session during weekly class time with an additional Technical rehearsal on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 12pm. Exact schedule TBD.

How do I participate?

Students who wish to participate should enroll for a Spring Flamenco weekly class as either a session enrollee or drop-in and pay a performance fee. The performance fee is included in the overall session price. Drop-ins must “opt in” by purchasing a separate performance fee. Register for your weekly class and pay your performance fee HERE.

CityDance Studios Spring Recital

CityDance Studios is excited to have adult Flamenco represented in our annual Spring Recital again this year!

When and where is the performance?

This performance takes place on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 4:30pm UDC Theater of the Arts, 4200 Connecticut Ave NW Washington DC.

Who can participate in this performance?

Participation in this performance is by invitation only. Students will be notified of their possible participation soon.

When do rehearsals take place?

Students will rehearse during the Spring session during weekly class time and will have an additional tech rehearsal on Tuesday, June 7, 2025. Exact time is TBD.

How do I participate?

Students who have been invited to participate must pay an additional performance fee in addition to being enrolled in a Spring Flamenco weekly class as either a session enrollee or drop-in. Register for your weekly class HERE.
