We’re thrilled to share exciting news from Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) Finals! Following stellar performances and multiple awards including Hope and Grand Prix Awards, as well as First, Second and Third places at YAGP regional competitions this season, CityDance Conservatory Dancers Corbin Holloway, Eric Poor, Rebecca Stewart and Ela Sevillia traveled to Tampa, Florida earlier this month to participate in the YAGP U.S. Finals.
All of the CityDance Conservatory dancers performed beautifully and with integrity during Finals. Ela Sevilia received a scholarship offer from the Ballettschule Theater Basel. Eric Poor (11) won 1st place in Classical and Contemporary Men’s Pre-competitive category and received scholarship offers from national and international ballet schools including the Ballettschule Theater Basel (Switzerland). Corbin Holloway (13) received 2nd place overall in the men’s Junior category, with an offer of a full tuition, plus a room and board scholarship to The Royal Ballet School in London, England, one of the most prestigious dance institutions in the world.
Our Conservatory dancers are dedicated and committed to advancing their development and the art of dance and we are proud of their hard work and accomplishments during one of the most difficult seasons in their training life. We congratulate and celebrate your incredible successes!
