48 Hours for Burma: Dance Benefit for Victims of Cyclone Nargis
September 6-7, 2008
Burma's Cyclone Nargis was the world's biggest natural disaster since the Asian tsumani in 2004. We need your help.We are taking 48 Hours for Burma to enjoy an evening of exceptional entertainment and a day of dance masterclasses. 100% percent of net proceeds from these events will be donated to the Foundation for the People of Burma.

Event Schedule
Saturday, September 6, 2008: Performances at Lansburgh Theatre
6:30pm Panel Discussion, 7:45pm Dance & Music Benefit Concert
Performers include Martha Graham Dance Company, Battery Dance Company, and CityDance Ensemble with musical guest Maya Azucena

Sunday, September 7, 2008: Dance Workshops at CityDance Center at Strathmore
10am Registration Begins, 11am-10pm Classes
Instuctors include Tadej Brdnik of Martha Graham Dance Company, Christopher K. Morgan of CityDance Ensemble, Sean Scantlebury of Battery Dance Company, and Traditional Burmese Dancers
