Located in North Bethesda, Maryland, the Music Center at Strathmore offers world-class performances designed for audiences of many tastes. Devoted to artistic excellence, education, and the community at large, Strathmore provides exceptional programming of the highest quality. As the resident dance partner at Strathmore, CityDance stages concerts in the intimate Room 405 and the main Concert Hall.

Tickets
Tickets for Carbon are available through the Strathmore Ticket Office.

There are three easy ways to purchase tickets:

Seating
Seating for Carbon in Room 405 is general admission, on a first come, first serve basis. Please arrive with ample time prior to the performance for best seating.

Room 405 is located on the 4th floor for the Music Center at Strathmore. It is accessible via elevator from the third floor Education Wing.

Directions by Car
From the Beltway (outer loop)
The Music Center at Strathmore is located 1/2 mile north of the Capital Beltway.
Take Exit 34 and head north on Wisconsin Ave., Route 355 (Rockville Pike).
Pass the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro station. The Center is located on the right just after the intersection of Route 355 and Tuckerman Lane.

From the Beltway (inner loop)
Exit the Capital Beltway (I-495) onto Old Georgetown Road (Route 187, Exit 36).
Turn left off the exit ramp onto Old Georgetown Road. Proceed for about 1.5 miles.
Turn right onto Tuckerman Lane. Turn left onto Rockville Pike (Route 355). The Center is located on the right, approximately 50 yards from the intersection.

From the I-270 Spur (heading south)
Exit the I-270 Spur onto Old Georgetown Road (Route 187).
Follow the signs to Old Georgetown Road, North.
Turn left onto Rt. 187. Within a 1/4 mile, turn right onto Tuckerman Lane.
Turn left onto Rockville Pike (Route 355). The Center is located on the right, approximately 50 yards from the intersection.

On Rockville Pike (heading north)
The Music Center at Strathmore is located 1/2 mile north of the Capital Beltway on Rockville Pike.The Center is on the right, approximately 50 yards after the intersection of Rockville Pike (Route 355) and Tuckerman Lane.

On Rockville Pike (heading south)
The Music Center at Strathmore is located on Rockville Pike (Route 355) just south of White Flint Mall. After passing the intersection of Strathmore Avenue, the Center is on the left. There is break in the median for the Music Center's main entrance; stay in the left lane as you approach the grounds.

Directions by Metro
The Music Center at Strathmore is directly adjacent to the Grosvenor/Strathmore Metro station on the red line. As you exit the Metro station, either follow the sidewalk to your immediate left toward the main entrance of Strathmore, or cross the street straight ahead, enter the parking garage on your left, and take the elevators to the fourth level. Use the covered sky bridge on the far side of the garage that connects to the main entrance of Strathmore. At the end of the sky bridge, take the first door on your right.

Directions by Bus
The Music Center at Strathmore is easily accessible by bus as well as Metro. We are serviced by the following routes (Please check the Montgomery County Ride-On website for specific route and time information):
    Route 6   To Wheaton Metro Station, Parkside and Rockspring Park
    Route 37 To Potomac (Potomac Community Center)-Tuckerman Lane
    Route 46 To Medical Center Metro Station and Montgomery College
    Route 96 To Montgomery Mall/Rock Spring Park- 25¢ Fare
    Metro Bus Route: J5

Concert Parking
Concert parking at Strathmore is free. The Grosvenor/Strathmore Metro Station garage serves as the main parking facility for The Music Center at Strathmore and is free on the weekends. During the week, payment for parking will be accepted with Metro SmartTrip cards only.There is a covered sky bridge accessible from the 4th floor of the parking garage that leads directly into The Music Center.

There are also a limited number of meter parking along Tuckerman Lane.

Please do not park in the Mansion parking lot at the front of the Music Center at Strathmore off Rockville Pike. If you need to drop people off, use the turnaround entrance off of Tuckerman Lane.

Where do I buy tickets?
Single tickets for Carbon are available through the Strathmore Ticket Office. Order early, as our concerts in Room 405 frequently sell out. Click here for more information.

When should I arrive?
Seating for CityDance concerts in Strathmore's Room 405 is general admission on a first come, first served basis. Arrive with enough time before the performance to choose preferred seating.

What should I wear?
Because the setting for our in-studio concerts (in Room 405) is both intimate and informal, patrons usually dress in casual attire. We invite you to wear what is most comfortable for you.

Casual or business-casual attire is appropriate for our concerts in the Concert Hall.

Is the Center accessible to persons with disabilities?
The Music Center at Strathmore is fully accessible to persons with disabilities. Visit the Strathmore Accessibility Information page for details.
