The Madeira School

CityDance Ensemble provides instruction for the dance program at The Madeira School, a girls' boarding and day school for grades 9-12 located in McLean, Virgina. As the resident dance artist and partner, CityDance teaches the Madeira students in a wide range of dance styles and fitness offerings, including ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, Pilates, yoga and a comprehensive fitness course. This program allows students to train, perform, and attend master classes with top notch professionals and gives them the opportunity to grow as dance artists.

In keeping with CityDance Ensemble's commitment to making education an equal partner in the world of dance, this collaborative relationship between CityDance and The Madeira School is paving the way toward expanding the knowledge and understanding of dance among students in the DC metropolitan area. CityDance values this opportunity to teach the students at Madeira and to extend our service to the community beyond the walls of our own studios.
