Director of Outreach Education
CityDance Ensemble seeks a dance education professional to manage its extensive outreach division. Responsibilities include:
1) Create, implement, and administer programs that include after-school instruction, in-school residencies, professional development workshops, and teacher training
2) Develop and maintain outreach program curriculums that support the National Standards of Dance Education
3) Hire and manage teaching staff
4) Build and manage relationships with school administrators, program partners, and funders
5) Conduct regular evaluations of programs, including teacher and staff performance reviews, curriculum, school contracts and partnerships
6) Prepare and reconcile outreach education budget on a monthly basis
7) Work with Executive Director, Artistic Director and Development Director on fundraising initiatives
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in building and directing dance outreach programs. A bachelor’s degree in dance/arts administration is a plus but not a requirement. Strong computer skills, planning and budgeting also a plus. Must be able to excel in a fast-paced, challenging environment and have the ability to connect equally well with students, administrators, funders, and instructors.
Salary is commensurate with experience.

Center at Strathmore Internship Program
CityDance Center at Strathmore offers an Internship program for
qualified, dedicated, and motivated individuals.
Internship responsibilities include:
Front Desk Reception
Marketing Assistance
Special Project Assistance
Database Management
Internship benefits include:
Four hours per week – one free class
Eight hours per week – unlimited free classes
Twelve hours per week – unlimited free classes, workshops, and master classes
Other opportunities and benefits include:
1. Take free dance classes from the area's finest instructors, including CityDance Ensemble dancers and internationally renowned artists and choreographers
2. Receive community service hours for working with a non-profit organization
3. Obtain letters of recommendation for college and/or future
employment

for free dance classes for children. A session commitment
is required for the internship program.
