The mission of CityDance is to advance the art of professional dance performance and education in the Washington area by reaching out to the community, into the studio and onto the professional stage.
July 21-Aug 1: Students build a strong classical and contemporary base through daily technique classes in ballet, pointe, modern and jazz. Includes a culminating in-studio performance. Suitable for levels Select IIA/Select I & Ages: 12-15.
Dancing In One Language Camp
Students from the DREAM program explore dance and connect to culture through this day camp at the African American Civil War Museum. Dancing alongside colorfully dressed Kenyan dancers on the National Mall, learning the hand movements of Bollywood, or dancing the Colombian Cumbia are just a few of the ways in which students experience world culture this summer.

The Yellow Submarine
Aug 4-Aug 15: The whimsical Beatles’ film about the importance of music, joy, and imagination inspires weekly lessons and a final in-studio performance. Includes daily classes in ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, improvisation, repertory and performance preparation taught by CityDance Camp Faculty. (Also known as Camp III – Ages: 11-14)More Info!
